Rocket League Developer Asks Fans To Help Decide New Music
If there’s one good thing you can say about Rocket League (for the record, there’s a LOT of good things we can say about the game) it’s that the developers listen to their player base. We mean this truly, as the game has evolved greatly since its launch in 2015, that’s why certain things got improved, and why the game is still so popular as we head full steam into 2018. Psyonix loves asking the player base what they want, and sometimes, even giving them choices on what they want, from the biggest of things, to the smallest of things.
A perfect example of this is going on right now, as Psyonix has put a poll up on Twitter to ask players to decide the music title that’ll play on the menu when you enter the game:
We’re changing the default menu music in our next update, and YOU get to help us choose the song! Make your selection in the poll below by Wednesday 1/17 at 12pm PST. Good luck!

Don’t know those songs? Don’t worry, Psyonix has got you covered, they tweeted links to all the songs so that you can listen to them and then vote! Just hurry, you only have three days left to participate.
Small time? Maybe, but it’s what Psyonix does with Rocket League. The biggest, or smallest, things can make a big difference in the game, and they know that, and they embrace that. And make no mistake, the game is going to grow in a big way in 2018.
They’re not only going to make the game more balanced, redo parts of the currency system, but also, make it so players can create their own tournaments. And you know there will be new cars, decals, and other fun things to trick out your ride.
So yeah, it’s going to be a good year for Rocket League.
