As you may know, the Steam Charts keeps track of the total number of concurrent players for titles on that particular platform. Unfortunately for LawBreakers, on January 10th between 8pm and 12am ET, the player count dropped all the way to zero.
With no clear signs of any maintenance or downtime revealed, it has been left to assume that the game’s player base has genuinely hit zero, with no confirmation through the game’s social media or official website at this current time. The player base for LawBreakers has been slowly but surely dropping for quite a while now, so it’s no surprise to see that people have given up on trying to find lobbies that are populated at all.

Publisher Nexon haven’t been coy when it comes to expressing the disappointment in sales for the once promising looking title. However, it has been suggested that the release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds somewhat managed to hinder the title, though such statements should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.
What happens next to the game remains a mystery. Perhaps it could serve as a free to play game at some point to try and attract users back to it, as well as hopefully gain an influx of new players.
