A recent Q&A session with Ubisoft revealed that they are considering bringing a New Game Plus mode to Assassin’s Creed Origins, after considerable popular demand from players.
A representative of the company stated: “We know that a large number of community members have requested a New Game+ feature. We are currently investigating the possibility of implementing this option in a future title update.”
It is likely to work in a similar vein to other games with this mode, where players will have the chance to restart the story once they have completed it. Usually, it would allow the player to retain weapons and items that had been with them at the end of the original playthrough, though there are often a number of variables facing them this time around, such as heightened difficulty. So you have the advantage of being able to start the game as strong as possible, though there will be obstacles in your way, more so in this new mode.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Hopefully we will hear more soon regarding a potential New Game Plus for the game, and how soon they will look into bringing it out.
