This week saw the end of the season for Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The final episode, Hell is Empty, made its debut on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and for those who own an Xbox One X, then you’re in for a visual feast, as the game finally offers up 4K support.
Life is Strange community manager Tobias Palm commented: “We hope you agree that we gave an extra touch to the universe of Arcadia Bay and its inhabitants, leaving a couple of loose ends for you to imagine what could have happened in the years that passed between each game.”
The final chapter sees Chloe having to face up to her past, as well as make the biggest and hardest decision in her entire life. Rachel too has fallen on hard times, who will need your support.
As for what the improvements entail, the game’s studio has revealed that there will be two graphic options, with 4K at 30fps or 1080p with 60fps. There is also 4K support for PlayStation 4 Pro, which has been added previously.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and will receive new content at some point next year.
