Azeroth is celebrating the holidays in style this year, with a festive makeover coming to World of Warcraft for a Christmas event. So adventurers can expect to see a plethora of festive decorations and items to be collected.
The primary attraction to this event is the Feast of Winter Veil, which will flood Azeroth with decorations. Giant snow globes will start showing up in Ironforge, Ogrimmar and Dalaran too, so be sure to keep an eye out for them. The winter event is underway now, and will run through to January 3rd.
Also, you’ll want to spend New Year’s Eve and Day in Azeroth if you can, where you can experience some in-game fireworks. The capitals of each race will have firework shows every hour on December 31-January 1st, which will last for the entire night.
The Abominable Greench will be making a usual return in the Feast of Winter Veil, with rewards available for those who can topple him. You might want to check out Legion dungeons and raids too, where you can find a Finely Tailored Holiday Hat.
These winter treats are part of a bigger December update, which will have more details revealed soon it seems from Blizzard.
