The immensely popular indie game Rocket League released on Nintendo Switch back in November, though it was only made available as a digital release. This looks to be changed soon however, as Psyonix reveal that there will be a physical version of the game released on January 16th, 2018.
Rocket League takes up a total of 4.8GB on either internal storage or microSD card slot, though despite this seemingly small size, it can still take a long time for you to actually download it. Therefore, a physical version of the game might be the way you want to go to avoid such long waiting times.
The physical edition will be billed as Rocket League Collector’s Edition, and will be available for purchase both online and in retail stores. Not only will it include the full game, but also additional content such as Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run DLC packs, as well as additional cars such as Aftershock, Marauder, Espera and Masmune. There will also be customization items based on The Flash from the DC universe, and an offering from concept artist Jay Zhang with a limited art print.
Rocket League is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
