PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS Gets A New Update

PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is a survival/last man standing video game where you basically try to find as many supplies and weapons and then use them to keep yourself alive. The game is rather popular, but it’s still a title that’s in development, so naturally, there are some problems that the developers are trying to fix as quickly as possible. The latest update to PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS improved server performance, and the loot balance got adjusted, alongside lots of other minor fixes. Check out the game’s gameplay trailer down below to see what PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS is all about.

The development team’s focus in the upcoming weeks is the improvement of the server. Client performance is also being improved, but another thing that the people at Bluehole, Inc. are actively doing is banning cheaters. As you can imagine, cheating in this kind of game kind of ruins the fun for everyone, except the cheater, so they are constantly banning any cheaters they come across, and they are adding new ways of detections together with BattlEye so they can fight cheats and their users as effectively as they can. They have banned over 25, 000 players in the last 3 months, so they are doing quite a good job.

Loot balance has also been addressed, as some items appeared more frequently than they should have, and others were barely seen at all. Of course, this isn’t an issue that affected all items, but still, the developers decided to fix it. Bluehole, Inc. aims to make these kinds of changes regulary, according to player feedback, of course.
