Tekken 7 is already being hailed as one of the best fighting games in recent memory. The title has a near infinite amount of detail, customization, and depth that has kept players playing it for quite some time. And it’s sales numbers aren’t bad either. But, that’s still not enough for the team at Bandai Namco, for they seek to expand the game in epic and new ways. They started this by bringing Akuma from Street Fighter into the series, and now, they’re bringing in Fatal Fury/King of Fighters character Geese Howard into the mix tomorrow.
Geese Howard is known as “The King Of Fear”, among other things, and is a ruthless man with a desire for combat and power. He killed the foster father of Terry and Andy Bogard, and set them on their quest for revenge. When Geese made the original King of Fighters tournament, his fight with Terry Bogard was so brutal and epic, that it was likened to two hungry wolves fighting. He also was thought to be killed by Terry, only to come back very much alive…until Terry actually did kill him.
Anyway, in the game, Terry Bogard brings his powerful style to the battlefield, using both his fists, his feet, and various energy attacks that he is known for. Players will need to keep a constant eye on him in order to get an opening, and not be overwhelmed by him.
The DLC 2 pack won’t just bring Geese Howard, but also certain items and stages that are only for him. There’s the “Howard Estate” stage you can battle on, as well as a pair of special outfits he can wear that reflect the present and past of the character.
As if that wasn’t enough, the pack will also bring the Tekken Bowl mode, of which Geese can be playable in.
