If you want to see how well a game plays, without having to shell out the money to play the full version, what do you do? You get a demo of course! Video game developers like giving out demos for their titles so that players can get excited about it, and then buy it. But, they also know that sometimes, demos must be given out after a game has been released, and that’s exactly what Bethesda is doing for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
A demo that contains the first level in the game is now available for free for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This will give you a great taste of what the game has to offer, which is a lot to be honest. Plus, due to it being Black Friday, the game is on sale for all system via different sites and different discounts. Including here on HRK. So if you haven’t gotten the game, now is a great time.
If you don’t know what the game is about, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus features the return of B.J. Blazkowicz, who must once again take the fight to the Nazi’s in an alternate version of Earth where they not only won World War II, but they now have full control over America, B.J’s home.
With his allies, he must go to America and rally all the resistance movements in order to fight back against the Nazi’s and try to put an end to this madness once and for all.
What makes the game special aside from its gripping story is the action. The game is loaded with weapons both familiar and sci-fi. And you’ll need every one of them to take out what the Nazi’s have waiting for you.
The game is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re willing to try it out (even just the demo), you might just find you like it.
