There’s little doubt that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has basically dominated the entire world of gaming since it released on Early Access earlier this year. So it has raised the question as to what is coming next for developers Bluehole Studios. This has since been revealed by the Korean company, who haave announced that they will be publishing Ascent: Infinite Realm.
This game presents a steampunk MMORPG, which will be made by Kakao Games. Bluehole has described it as a “groundbreaking” MMO, which will have a combined setting of fantasy and steampunk. Within it will be five classes to choose from, including Warlord, Sorceress, Gunslinger, Mystic and Assassin. Each class has two subclasses, which are set to be revealed at a later date.
A beta for the game is set to be launched sometime in the first half of 2018, which can be signed up for over on the official wesbsite.
PUBG is developed by PUBG Corp, which is a subsidiary that was recently created to solely focus on that particular game, so don’t worry about them taking their eyes of the ball where the popular battle royale game is concerned. It also appears at the moment that Brendan Greene will not have any role in the upcoming MMORPG.
