Konami has announced today the release date for the upcoming launch of Metal Gear Survive, which is set to arrive on PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 22nd, 2018.
Accompanying the announcement of the release date is information regarding the pre-order campaign for the game, which fans can purchase to receive a Survival Bonus Pack filled with bonus content that can only be obtained by pre-ordering.
Those who do pre-order Metal Gear Surive will receive four gold-plated weapons, including the Bat, Sledgehammer, Survival Machete and Survival Spear. You’ll also get four metallic survival scarves in green, blue pink and silver, as well as “Thumbs Up” and “Happy” gestures, the “BOXMAN [THE ORANGE]” accesory and “Kabuki” face paint.
Metal Gear Survive carries on from where the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes left off, in which players are sent through a wormhole into an alternate reality where they must face off against some deadly enemies in a hostile environment. Not only will they have to kill to stay alive, but also gather food, water and other resources to build weapons, buildings and other items.
Metal Gear Survive will release next year on February 22nd, 2018 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
