If you have been sat waiting for the chance to play Star Wars Battlefront II for yourself, then today is your lucky day. The open beta has finally opened, and you can download it for your respective platform now, with the game being available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The beta, which has already been running for a couple of days for those who pre-ordered the game, will end on October 9th. The PC version of the game clocks in around 23GB, whilst console is around 13GB. Players will be able to experience Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault, which will allow them to join up with Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids on the outskirts of the royal palace. Here, players can experience the game as their favorite characters, with a roster of recognizable faces to choose from.
Also, the Multiplayer Starfighter Assault mode will also be on show, courtesy of EA and DICE. Players can take a journey back to the original trilogy era and pilot a number of ships associated from the franchise, in what looks to be an encounter of epic proportions during an objective-based and multi-stage battle for the ages.
