Apart from the pre-order bonus character Eliza, the DLC characters from Tekken 7 will not be available to play as in the Ultimate Tekken Bowl DLC.
According to a source on Twitter, the fighting game’s Japanese website has stated that the characters from the second and third DLC packs will not be available to play as in the quirky Ulimate Tekken Bowl. The revelation came about after fans began discussing the changing of guest character Howard Geese’s signature line “predictabo” to “predictabowl.”
Tekken Bowl was released as a free mobile app back in 2011, having first been introduced back in Tekken Tag Tournament. It also made an appearance in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, before making it’s way to the mobile platform. As predicted, the game offers up regular bowling mechanics, mixed in with the unique blend of Tekken gameplay, with characters smashing into the pins with special abilities.
The DLC featuring Ultimate Tekken Bowl will launch on August 31st on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This will be accompanied by a number of new outfits, character profiles and more being added to the game for both male and female characters. Tekken 7 is now available on the platforms listed above, which brings an end to the historic Mishima feud.
