The popular 4v1 asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight finally made it’s way onto consoles recently, and now these versions are playing catch up in terms of the previously released DLC on PC.
Having released back in June on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Dead by Daylight is finally adding the long-awaited DLC to these versions with the release of the “Halloween Chapter.” This pack features legendary killer Michael Myers and surivivor Laurie Strode from the Halloween franchise as playable characters, long with the Haddonfield map which also previously released on PC.
Mathieu Cote from Behavior Interactive commented regarding the Halloween Chapter upon it’s original release: “it’s based on the original movie. Michael is the ultimate stalker. So as opposed to all the other killers that we have, Michael sees you and he watches you. So the power of Michael grows as he’s stalking you. And at some point he will be able to build up that meter, that power, until he becomes evil incarnate.”
Its great to see Myers make his way to the console version of Dead by Daylight. His persona and methodology certainly fit the bill as far as the game is concerned, and the mechanics on offer provide an authentic feeling of what it would be like to control the deadly stalker.
