With the release date fast approaching, Bungie has released a number of trailers for Destiny 2, showcasing four characters for the game including Ikora, Zavala, Hawthorne and Cayde-6.
From what we have seen so far, Bungie appear to be acting on their promise of bringing a more in-depth and narrative driven game this time around, which would explain why they have shown off characters in individual trailers. It looks as if it will be a very expansive game in terms of exploration too, with a number areas such as the European Dead Zone to traverse.
The PC beta was also announced recently, which is set to run from August 29th through to August 31st, and will be available a day early if you happened to have pre-ordered the game in advance.
It is perfectly understandable to see why Activision are confident that Destiny 2 will be a success, considering they’ve just been able to announce that the console beta and pre-orders have surpassed those attained by the original game. There’s a lot of promise so far, with the release date just a few weeks away.
Destiny 2 will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, followed by a PC release on October 24th.
