Wasteland 3 has been delayed to August due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the devs having to work remotely for safety reasons.
inXile Entertainment has done a stellar job with their post-apocalyptic isometric RPG series. Wasteland 3 is the name, and thanks to the coronavirus outbreak, delay is the game. As we all know, everyone that can work from home is currently working from home. Basically, Wasteland 3 has been delayed thanks to the coronavirus. As if this epidemic hasn’t already caused enough hell for the entire world. It’s a shame, but it is what it is. The health of the developers is more important. Better for them to deliver a delayed quality post-apocalyptic gritty experience than to release it before it’s ready. Naturally, having your entire team working from home can create challenges so it’s understandable that the game got delayed.
inXile Entertainment proved with Wasteland and Wasteland 2 that they know what they’re doing with this genre. Their titles already have a cult following. So, the response of this announcement on Twitter was met with a lot of positivity and support. The new release date for Wasteland 3 is August 28th, 2020. We have to wait a bit more to try this highly anticipated sequel, but that’s not an issue. The safety of such awesome developers comes first.
