Blizzard Loses Its Overwatch Lead Writer
After 20 years of working for Blizzard, Michael Chu, the Overwatch lead writer decided that he is leaving the company to pursue new things.
Michael Chu has worked at Blizzard for 20 years. Strange that these 20 years are being followed by a departure from the company. Seems like Chu got involved with Blizzard by becoming a tester for Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. That was way in 2001, and over time the dude became the lead writer for Overwatch. But, why is Blizzard losing its Overwatch lead writer? In his farewell message Chu said that he’s moving on to new adventures. Will he join another company? Or maybe he’ll create his own company and start working on an original IP. The possibilities for a capable man such as this are endless.
Michael Chu did amazingly when it comes to Overwatch. Thanks to this guy the game has such unique and intriguing characters. On the topic of Overwatch he said:
Overwatch has been a life-changing experience. I have always felt that games and the stories they tell have the unique ability to bring people closer together, and that the empathy you feel from stepping into someone else’s shoes, even virtually, can bridge the gap between miles, cultures, and nations.
I’m sure everyone is excited to see what this dude is going to work on next. We’ll keep an eye on him to see what’s his next move. Stay tuned!
Twenty years after first walking through the doors at Blizzard, I’m moving on to new adventures! Overwatch has been an amazing experience and one that I will treasure forever. Thank you to everyone for your support over the years! https://t.co/rG4zPe9SGC

If you haven’t, I suggest you try Overwatch. A multiplayer shooter with distinct characters and incredibly well-polished shooting mechanics. It’s available on HRK Game for a crazy low price!
