Remember when we talked about how Ubisoft delayed some of their upcoming titles because their recently released games didn’t do that well financially? Well, seems like other games got much worse treatment. According to PCGamesN, an unannounced project that has been in development for three years just got canceled. Why? No idea, but rumors suggest that this title was quite similar to Destiny. We all know how the Anthem team was ordered not to even mention that game, so maybe this case is similar to that one. Supposedly this new IP was being made by the Watch Dogs team. Which is interesting since they are also working on Watch Dogs: Legion.

A thing like this is usually bad news for the employees. However, even though Ubisoft canceled this unannounced game, no one lost their jobs. These people just got assigned to new projects. And since 2020 has quite a few Ubisoft titles coming, the help is always a plus. Hopefully we get some more information regarding this obscure project they scrapped. I’m sure everyone is curious to see just what kind of Destiny clone they were making.

If this title was being made by the Watch Dogs team, you should check out that franchise on HRK Game as all the games are available for a discounted price!
