Modern Warfare and its Gunfight mode are getting a 1v1 and 3v3 versions sometime in the future, as Joe Cecot said on Twitter.
Modern Warfare has a solid single-player campaign and some pretty basic multiplayer modes. But, there’s one mode that’s exceptional. Gunfight, a 2v2 mode where everyone gets the same weapons and dukes it out on smaller versions of existing maps. Also, the guns get randomized every now and then. So, both teams need to adjust to their new random weapon and use it against the enemy. Tactical, yet also a wild mode filled with uncertainty and excitement. It’s quite a lot of fun. But, players have been asking. Will this mode get a 3v3 version? Yes, it will, and it will also get a 1v1 version. To all the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 veterans that took out their disagreements against each other in a 1v1 on the Rust map are going to be excited about a 1v1 mode, and I am as well. Joe Cecot, the co-design director of multiplayer was the one who said that these versions of the mode are coming, as PC Games N reported.
More variations of an already extremely exciting mode? Yes, please. The 3v3 mode is something that will be fun, but I’m just looking forward to a Modern Warfare 1v1 experience.
