Conan Exiles has finally made it’s way onto Xbox One today, as the open-world survival game debuts on console as part of the Xbox One Game Preview program. This edition will be identical to the PC version, and is at the advantage of kicking straight off with six months worth of tweaks and improvements, as well as additional content.
On the subject of content, Funcom has also added The Frozen North expansion to both PC and Xbox One, which vastly increases the game’s world by 70%, taking players from the harsh deserts to the snowy mountain region.
At this moment in time, Conan Exiles will be launching in full sometime in early 2018. It has been in Early Access on PC for the last six months, giving the team plenty of time to make a number of improvements to the game, with more to surely come before the game’s full release. The arrival on Xbox One and introduction of The Frozen North marks the second phase of Conan Exiles on Early Access, bringing a whole new audience to the brutal survival adventure.
Funcom Head of Games Lawrence Poe commented: “During the first six months of Early Access on PC our focus has been to work with our core community eliminating exploits, improving core systems, and fleshing out both content and features. In this phase two of Early Access the game is bigger and better than ever and we are very excited about bringing the game to an entirely new audience on Xbox One.”
