GGG have been busy these past few years

ExileCon was the first large convention for the people over at Grinding Gear Games. How did it go? Quite spectacularly, if I may say so myself. First, we got to see Path of Exile 2, a sequel/expansion hybrid, new late-game content for Path of Exile, and we even got to see Path of Exile Mobile. As you can expect, the crowd absolutely loved everything. The energy from the founders of GGG, the presentation of Path of Exile 2. It was all extraordinary. This small company grew exponentially over the years, and it shows. The work and effort they put in Path of Exile paid off, and now they’re expanding. All their hard work was expertly presented at ExileCon and it was a sight to behold.

A new endgame for Path of Exile

The new end-game for Path of Exile is on its way. A new story awaits us where Exiles (the players) act as villains. After the final boss in the game’s story gets defeated, the Exiles start farming maps(alternate dimensions). They even made that fact cannon in an interesting way. Now, these Exiles got drunk on power and you know how the rest goes. Check out the Conquerers of Atlas page to find out more about all of the new features that are coming.

Path of Exile 2

As far as Path of Exile 2 is concerned, it’s a whole other story. A new story to be precise. Now, players can pick which campaign they want to experience when starting a new character. Seven new acts are available in Path of Exile 2, among many other features. The game’s core systems are getting an overhaul, the visuals have been insanely improved, and the skill gem system is now much less confusing and offers a lot more experimentation options. Shapeshifting is also being introduced, alongside 19 new Ascenany Classes. Everything from the first game gets carried over to the sequel/expansion. Everything shown in the gameplay reveal looks absolutely stunning. Grinding Gear Games obviously know what they are doing. Especially since Path of Exile Mobile got announced and it was met with cheering and laughter.

ARPG fans are the lucky ones. Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4 are both something to keep an eye out for. Unfortunately, Path of Exile 2 is coming sometime around 2021. We won’t be playing it soon. But, you can play the first game right now. You can also buy a PC game key for Diablo 3 on HRK Game if PoE isn’t really your cup of tea.
