Respawn Entertainment is going to show us some gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in June at E3/EA Play.
That new Star Wars game that won’t feature microtransactions has been stirring up quite a lot of controversy. Some don’t like the fact that we’re playing as a “bland and generic white guy”. A strange complaint but what can you do, you can’t please everyone. We, on the other hand, just want a solid Star Wars game. Star Wars Battlefront II had a terrible launch but ended up being quite a solid shooter.
But, when will we get another gem like Knights of the Old Republic? Never? Perhaps, but we know that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is going to at least have some interesting melee combat. Everyone just wants to slice people up with lightsabers and throw them off high places using the Force. Is that really too much to ask for these days?
The game will also have some exploration and even puzzle-solving. No one knows how much exploration, or what kind of puzzles, but everyone is going to see some gameplay in June. That’s a month away from now, so let’s just be patient and wait for the EA Play event. Since Respawn Entertainment isn’t doing too well with their free-to-play shooter, Apex Legends, their next title needs to be a hit.
June 7th is when the EA pre-E3 event, EA Play starts. We’re betting that everyone is quite nervous for the gameplay reveal for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as quite a lot of time passed since we got a solid single player SW experience. This is either going to be something amazing or something thoroughly disappointing.
What do you think, will this game deliver? Stay tuned for more news!
