Pick Up Assassin’s Creed Unity For Free

Ubisoft is donating a lot of money for the Notre-Dame restoration, and Assassin’s Creed Unity is free for the taking.

At least now we can’t say that Ubisoft never did anything good. Everyone heard about the tragic fire that destroyed a significant part of the Notre-Dame cathedral. Well, if you’ve played Assassin’s Creed Unity you know that there’s a pretty detailed representation of that structure in that game. A lot of time was spent trying to create the most accurate portrayal of the Notre-Dame cathedral, so it’s a pretty important part of that game. Ubisoft even decided to donate 500, 000 euros for the restoration.

Players will also be happy to hear that Assassin’s Creed Unity is also being given away for free. As they say, there’s a silver lining in everything, and Ubisoft is also urging anyone that can to donate to the restoration process. The Notre-Dame cathedral holds a lot of importance as something that holds historical and cultural significance.

Now, as far as Assassin’s Creed Unity is concerned, it isn’t the best game in the franchise. When it first launched it had a lot of problems and countless bugs which were pretty game-breaking. After Unity and Syndicate, Ubisoft decided to take another route for the franchise. That’s when we got Origins and now Odyssey, which are the best additions to the franchise in our opinion.

But, those of you that like the more realistic and assassin-oriented games from the series, you should give Unity a try. It’s mostly been patched up since its releases so it’s in a playable state right now.
