It’s time to welcome Kitana and her distubingly sharp fans as she takes center place in the latest Mortal Kombat 11 trailer.
We are still upset about the fact that Mortal Kombat 11 is going to have microtransactions. They are only cosmetics and all details haven’t been reveaeld yet, but let’s just hope that all of the cosmetics and animations can also be bought with in-game currency. But, that’s not the topic today. We’re here to talk about Kitana, which made her gruesome debut in the latest Mortal Kombat 11 trailer.
Is she as swift as ever with her fans? Yes, yes she is, and she even has some new moves, alongside the ones the players are familiar with. Kitana has always been one of our favorite female characters. Mostly because her moveset is quite diverse and offers a lot of close combat options as well as some ranged attacks which disable the enemy.
If you’ve ever played the previous Mortal Kombat games, you know that Kitana is a woman that you don’t want to annoy. Mostly because she can use her fans to lift you up into the air with a small tornado and then jam her steel fans right into your skull. That’s what happens to D’Vorah, the bug lady that’s fighting her in the trailer.
If she isn’t throwing her fans at your face she’s probably trying to teleport behind you and stab you in the back. She’s quite a lovely fighter, and her fatality is one of the most creative ones we’ve seen yet. Can’t wait to waste a lot of time trying to memorise it only to fail the first 10 times we try it.
