Dragon Ball FighterZ Rematch To Feature Voice Actors For Goku and Vegeta
There’s almost always a line between the voice actors that play certain characters in shows and animes, and the games that have them in it. And by that I mean that just because a voice actor is in a game doesn’t mean that they play the game themselves. Sure, they might try it out, but it’s not a requirement by any means. However, with Dragon Ball FighterZ, two of the main voice actors Sean Schemmel and Christopher R. Sabat (who voice Goku and Vegeta respectively) are a different story.
For not only are they gamers, they love to play their own title. In fact, Sabat was one of the most vocal people in getting FighterZ to the Nintendo Switch, which they eventually did.
Anyway, last year, they had a #SuperSaiyanShowdown, and the world was stunned when Sabat performed a clean sweep of Schemmel when they battled in FighterZ. And now, the rematch is set.
This will happen on April 23rd, and will be on the Funimation Twitch, Facebook, and Youtube channel. And this time, Goku wants revenge, but not exactly for the reasons you might think.
You see, as I mentioned, both of these guys are gamers themselves. And Schemmel is actually really good at fighting games. But going into their Super Saiyan Showdown the first time, he honestly hadn’t practiced that much with Dragon Ball FighterZ. But Sabat…did. In fact he had lost to Schemmel in certain other competitions in the past, and he wasn’t going to let that happen again here. So he trained hard to beat Schemmel, and he did. So now, both guys will be ready for war.
Will the Prince of Saiyans get another victory over his long time rival? Or, will one of the greatest heroes in all of anime come back from the ashes and get the victory? Who will win? Who will lose? Find out on April 23rd!
