The CD Projekt Red 2018 financial results presentation tells us that this time, E3 is going to be a big help with their presentation of their games.
We all know who these guys are already. The masterminds behind one of the most anticipated RPGs in recent time, Cyberpunk 2077, and also the people that made The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is probably the best RPG made in the past 10-20 years. So, in their 2018 financial results presentation we got to find out certain things, like how GOG is doing very poorly in terms of making money, and that E3 this year is going to be really important to them since a lot of surprises await us.
Staffing is getting increased as the support for their secret RPG is needed. What exactly is this game? No one currently knows, but since we know that it is being worked on it means that Cyberpunk 2077 development is also near its end.
Oh yeah, if you fancy Gwent, the card game from the Witcher universe, it’s coming to Iphones in the fall of 2019, which is pretty cool. If you’ve played it either in The Witcher 3 or as an independent title, you know that it’s a cool card game with some interesting gameplay mechanics.
The information is broad and spread, so nothing specific to Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t shared, but we’re certain that E3 is going to be monumental for CD Projekt Red. A lot of hype is riding on their presentation, so let’s hope it’s as mindblowing as we want it to be.
