A new cryptic teaser was released by Blizzard that mentions a guy name Baptiste, who could be the new Overwatch hero.
Blizzard loves teasing their upcoming content no matter what the game in question is. They’re like the Riddler from DC Comics, always giving you hints to follow and breadcrumbs leading up to their next release. The latest teaser is connected to someone called Baptist, a combat medic that is currently missing. Does this mean that he is the latest addition of the Overwatch hero roster? Most likely, and that will get confirmed in the upcoming week, as is the tradition right now when it comes to announcing new Overwatch heroes.
So this log that concerns Captain Cuerva’s missing strike team that was sent to recapture or eliminate Jean-Baptiste Augustin. Looks like he caught them off-guard, and took out three guys from the strike team. Seems like this Baptiste guy is a dangerous fellow. Cuerva even said that he has the Devil’s own luck:
I know better than to underestimate Baptiste. I helped train him myself, and he was one of our best. I’ve never known a medic to be such a good shot, and his adaptability to new situations is a rare talent. All of us have seen our fair share of conflict, but Baptiste was built to survive. I swear he has the Devil’s own luck.
From the looks of it, this dude will be some sort of a support character with some offensive tools.
