Madness Coming To Elder Scrolls: Legends
Bethesda’s CCG, Elder Scrolls: Legends, is going on a trip down insanity lane in the upcoming Isle of Madness expansion.
Sheogorath is someone that you’re very familiar with if you’ve played Oblivion, and you might know who he is if you’ve played a lot of Skyrim. He is the Daedric Prince of Madness, and probably one of the most interesting Daedric entities from the Elder Scrolls universe. He’s just mad, that’s all, and incredibly charming. Elder Scrolls: Legends players will be visiting the Shivering Isles, the spectacular home of Sheogorath, when this expansion arrives.
So, what is this major story expansion bringing to this CCG? First of all, we have Double Cards, which do as their name suggests. Once you draw them, they split into two cards. These are value generator cards, and this is definitely an interesting feature, one we wouldn’t mind seeing in other card games like Hearthstone.
New lane conditions are arriving with the Isle of Madness as well. Say hello to the Dementia Lane and the Mania Lane. The Dementia Lane deals damage to your enemies if you control the most powerful creature on that lane, and Mania draws you one card if you have the creature with the most health on that lane.
Isle of Madness is coming on January 24. It will feature three acts which will showcase the madness of the Shivering Isles and the Prince of Madness that resides there. The expansion will bring 55 new cards to the game.
