Who doesn’t love free stuff? Well, for the team at Ubisoft, they’re wanting to reward people who have Rainbow Six Siege, regardless of what “level of commitment” you are at currently. To that end, they’re offering a special deal, and all you have to do is go and log into the game, that’s it, and in return, you’ll get some really cool stuff based on how far you are in the game. But no, this isn’t a “progress determines your reward” kind of thing, it’s different than that.
Basically, the team is offering you some items based on what you have or downloaded. They revealed this on Twitter:
Happy Holidays from the Rainbow Six Siege team! Log into Rainbow Six from now until January 1st to receive a free Holiday Pack, containing a DLC Operator or 25,000 Renown if you have them all.
So, if you’re missing an Operator, you’ll get them! Or, you’ll get in-game currency in order to buy things for your Operators, win-win!
And yes, the “needed Operators” can include the two from the recent Wind Bastion addition. So if you haven’t gotten them yet, this is a great way to get them all. Now, unfortunately, there have been some issues with this giveaway, but Ubisoft is looking into it:
We are aware of an issue with the Holiday Pack conversion system, preventing players that own all DLC Operators from redeeming their 25,000 Renown. We are investigating and will update you when we know more!
So if you’re having an issue with this, don’t panic, it will be fixed, and there is plenty of time to get the reward before the new year arrives.
It’s not surprising that Ubisoft is doing such a giveaway for Rainbow Six Siege, after all, the game is one of their most popular titles.
