The Mortal Kombat 11 announcement trailer had an evil Raiden, two different versions of Scorpion, and 21 Savage.
Everyone is talking about Mortal Kombat 11, and rightfully so. It’s Mortal Kombat, the most brutal and bloody fighter franchise out there. If you need a dose of unfiltered and cruel violence where heads explode and spines get ripped out, you play a Mortal Kombat game. The last entry in the series, Mortal Kombat X, has been out for quite a while. Now is the time for new and better things, which can be seen in the trailer for this game.
Some may notice that a lot of people are complaining in the comments section. Why? Well, the devs tried to pick some rather unusual music for the trailer, and people didn’t like it. Even though 21 Savage has better songs which would have fit the action of the trailer more, this song isn’t half bad. Obviously, the fans of the Mortal Kombat games aren’t into rap, which is clearly seen in every second comment on the trailer. We like the fact that the trailer didn’t just use the Mortal Kombat theme or some generic metal song. Experimentation is always welcome in our book.
No gameplay was shown, but some info was given on the game. For example, Mortal Kombat 11 will have customization options. But not just cosmetic ones, as it seems we will be able to tailor the playstyle of our characters. No further info was given on this, but everyone should be excited if we’re going to get the option of coming up with our own combination of moves.
Seems like we will get another awesome title where we get to beat the everliving crap out of each other in the most spectacular ways.
