That’s right, The Abyss update is all about underwater exploration, and there are some spooky elements as well. Why would you explore the outer space when there are so many wonders and terrors to behold underneath the blue surface of the sea? This No Man’s Sky update wants you to do just that. Dive deep into the vast mass of water and discover new flora and fauna, wreckages, new resources, and more.
The launch trailer for this update shows you exactly what to expect from The Abyss. You could find many large oceans in the game before. But, now they are jampacked with content for you to enjoy. Everything from spooky sea monsters to pretty underwater flowers can be found while you explore the sea in your submarine that’s called the Nautilon.
There’s even new content that revolves around a story about some crew that was stranded after their ship crashed. New eerie underwater ruins have also been added for that spook factor. This isn’t the Halloween-themed update that we were expecting, but it’s quite welcome. The first thing we’re going to do is dive as deep as we can to see what horrors lurk down near the bottom.
