Killing people with swords is fun in For Honor, but with this Halloween event, you can look spooky while doing it.
Why fight other players in For Honor when you can wreck armies of skeletons? In fact, during the span of this event a variant of the Dominion game mode is available. Endless March is what the game mode is called and instead of normal non-player soldiers, you get to bash in the skulls of skeleton warriors. The Return of the Otherworld also comes with new challenges, quests, and rewards.
If you bought the Marching Fire expansion you can look forward to new challenges. But, as we all know, the central part of these Halloween events are the scary skins. This time players will be able to get their hands on eerie Mask Outfits which completely transform their Heroes into terrifying versions of themselves. From what we saw in the trailer these Mask Outfits look rather spectacular. All Heroes from all factions, and that includes the Wu Lin faction that was added in the latest expansion, get to use these Mask Outfits. New lootable items (gear, weapons) are also available.
In the second week of this event, a spectacular Lack O’Lantern emote will become available. It literally transforms the head of the player into a pumpkin, which the Hero then proceeds to smash all over the floor. It’s quite a sight to behold.
You have until November 8 to enjoy these spooky festivities and all that comes with them.
