Cyberpunk 2077 Team Further Detail The Game
Cyberpunk 2077 is one the most highly anticipated titles coming out, which is ironic because we don’t know when it’s coming out. Yet, ever since its definitive reveal at E3 2018, the team at CD Projekt Red have been inundating us with more and more information about the game. All of which is helping building hype for the title so that when it does release, it’ll be a mega-hit. Well, now the team is up and at it again, dropping more information about the RPG.
Designer Miles Tost for example talked with Gamingbolt, and dropped some information about side quests:
“Side quests are great opportunities for us to tell stories of our cyberpunk world. After all, despite not being a part of the main questline, they are still connected to the world and can elaborate on certain parts of it, like the characters. So it’s all interwoven. And yes, that also means that our side quests could affect the main story.”
Very interesting, but it’s not the only thing interesting that was revealed. For example, while Night City is a playground for crime, that doesn’t mean the police aren’t doing their jobs. And if you try and mess with them, you’ll be paying the price:
“It’s really important to us to portray a world that you feel a part of, so naturally, the world also has to react to your presence,” he said. “Regarding this particular example, let me just say the Night City police don’t react lightly to people stepping out of the line. Their cyber implants, as well as advanced weaponry make them not a pushover, either.”
All of this continues to point to Cyberpunk 2077 being a fully immersive world full of actions and consequences. The only real question now is…when is the game coming out? We don’t know yet, and it’s unclear when we’ll find out.
