As it is a trend these days, the huge space exploration/survival game, No Man’s Sky, is also getting a Halloween-themed update.
No Man’s Sky has seen quite a large increase in its player base since the NEXT update arrived. That was to be expected as everyone wanted to try the game again once it finally got multiplayer. Even at its core, it is a game that can be quite terrifying at times. There are many procedurally generated planets that are absolutely haunting. You won’t find many of those, but others will have procedurally generated monsters that are also quite scary.
So, we suppose it wouldn’t be too strange for No Man’s Sky to get a Halloween-themed update. Right? Whatever the case may be, we are getting one, but no much information was given about it. It was announced yesterday, and this scary update is called The Abyss. Pretty ominous name, but what could it mean? We literally have no clue, and we are eager to see what kind of horror is coming to this space exploration game.
Are you excited for a Halloween-themed update? For us, its a tie. On one hand, we do want to see what Hello Games are going to bring that’s eerie and spooky. On the other hand, will that be enough to make us play No Man’s Sky again? We don’t know, but we’ll have to wait until they release more information about The Abyss update to know for sure.
