Like all games, Destiny 2 also has its own way of celebrating Halloween which is through the Festival of the Lost event.
Is Halloween all about scaring us? Or is it about remembering and honoring the dead? The actual purpose of this holiday was long lost, but now it is meant to scare you. It’s meant to scare you good. Judging from what we saw in the Festival of the Lost trailer, we’re sure that this event is going to be a blast. A scary blast. The Tower has been decorated with eerie violet candles and all kinds of other festive decorations which are meant to send shivers down your spine. We can’t wait to see all of the decorations ourselves.
The Festival of the Lost features the brand new Haunted Forest which is filled with all kinds of spooky things. But, we can earn various cosmetic Masks which will help us on our frightening journey. These Halloween events are always jampacked with themed-items, and the Festival of the Lost has lots of them. You just need to play through the event, slay creepy opponents (that the game has even without the event) and have some fun.
In this Destiny 2 event, you can earn all kinds of things. Sparrows, Emotes, the aforementioned Masks, and even the Horror Story Auto Rifle, a weapon which has the coolest sounding name ever. What are you waiting for, the event started today, so go and get yourself a Horror Story Auto Rifle!
