What do you think about the idea of a new Lord of the Rings MMORPG? Lord of the Rings Online wasn’t really all that successful, so will the new game do better?
Lord of the Rings Online was fairly popular with the players, and it received quite a lot of praise. But, the game never got a lot of attention, which means it probably didn’t make a lot of money in the long term. But, thanks to WCCFTech, we now know that a new Lord of the Rings MMORPG is coming. When? We don’t know, as there isn’t much information at all about what this game will look like and when it will launch.
We do know one thing, and that’s the fanbase of Tolkien’s work, which is huge. Ever since the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy came out, this fictional universe gained a lot of attention. And for good reason, as Middle-earth has a lot of captivating fantasy elements that many other fantasy worlds don’t. It’s gritty, it’s dark, it’s magical, and it’s incredibly well-made. The heroes in Lord of the Rings go through many rough situations, but in the end, they do their best to end up victorious. Everyone is anxious about this new Lord of the Rings MMORPG, but we look forward to it.
We do know that the game is taking place before the events of The Lord of the Rings occurred. Does this mean that we can expect to meet Sauron? We sure hope it does.
