Upcoming Path of Exile: Delve Changes Showcased
The changes that are coming with Path of Exile: Delve expansion have been shown. Each expansion brings lots of new features, as well as balance changes.
Let’s start things off with Traps and Mines. It seems the developers made these things really powerful in combination with certain skills. When that sort of thing happens, certain playstyles become much stronger than others. But, Path of Exile is all about giving you many options when it comes to builds and things like that. So these got nerfed. The throw time on traps and damage penalty on Multi Trap Support and Minefield Support has been increased. The number of traps thrown by Cluster Trap has been reduced by one as well. Lightning Trap and Fire Nova Mine, as well as some trap skills, got their damage increased in order to compensate for the nerfs.
Kinetic Blast is also getting a nerf. It seems like it had some “mechanical quirks” that made it exceptionally good at area clearing. Even some boss encounters were easy thanks to it. Now, it deals 35% less area damage, and you can no longer overlap Kinetic Blasts.
Spell Block can now also be gained only from flat sources of spell block. Each way of converting attack block to spell block has been changed to a flat source of spell block. It all sounds very confusing, we know, but just know that spell block is now something that all characters can gain easily.
You can read more about these changes on their official post. For those of you that are looking for an action RPG and you’re already bored of Diablo III, give this game a shot. Path of Exile is a title that has a lot of content to offer, and it’s a fantastic game with many pros and little to no cons.
