Who else gets more excited for new Overwatch maps than heroes? We certainly do, and the new map that’s coming soon is called Busan.
Busan is a three-stage Control map. It’s coming to the PTR rather soon which means that it will be playable in no time. Blizzard never disappoints us with beautiful map designs, and Busan looks rather astonishing. Who wouldn’t adore a map that has an amazing ancient temple, a cool train station, and even a PC gaming bar? Yes, this means that you and your friends can go to a PC gaming bar and then visit the gaming bar in the game for the meta jokes.
As always, three different parts of the map mean that some will be much more chaotic than the others. The first stage of Busan is filled with gorgeous gardens and relaxing streaming waters. This is a part of the map where you will get to enjoy the scenery. Downtown will definitely be filled with carnage, as it is filled with enclosed spaces. Enclosed spaces in Overwatch mean close-quarters fights, and those get messy.
Lastly, we have the MEKA base, which has some interesting things in it for us to see. As you know, this base is the home of the MEKA squad, which D.Va is a part of.
As in all maps of this kind, players fight for the control of each stage in order to attain control of the city. There is also a train station in Busan, and yes, there’s a train that’s going to kill you if it hits you.
