So, is everyone bored of zombies and infected and other similar humanoid threats? What about robots, are you prepared to take on robots in Generation Zero?
Imagine a game like H1Z1 or DayZ, but instead of dealing with sluggish and boring zombies, you take on robots. They aren’t much faster, but they do possess a much colder type of threat than zombies do. See, zombies are still people that got changed due to some virus or something like that. Robots, well, they are cold and calculated killing machines that are hard to stop.
Zombies want to eat you, machines just want to eliminate you. Why? We don’t know, and it doesn’t matter. This year at E3 we heard about Generation Zero and what it would be about. The game is set in the year 1989 and the action takes place in Sweden. Players need to scour the land and look for any kind of weapon. Sounds pretty familiar by now.
Still, the gritty graphics, the timeline, and the way that we fight these robots looks like a lot of fun. You can’t just downright gun down robots, they are pretty durable machines. Also, if a fight ends up by either side running away, the robots will remember. So, if you end up running into the same robot, be sure to kill it if possible. There are various tactics that you can use when fighting these machines. They have a modular damage system, so their armor parts and other components can be targeted and destroyed.
