According to a recent listing made on the Microsoft Store, The Sims 4 seems to be coming to Xbox One, with a release date scheduled for November 17th.
Publisher EA has yet to make an official announcement on the game coming to the Microsoft home console, and there isn’t any word on whether it will be coming to other consoles also. The likely story is that it could simply be a listing error made by Microsoft, and that it isn’t coming out for Xbox One after all.
EA meanwhile has been supporting The Sims 4 on a continued basis since its release back in 2014, with an update this year including toddlers, something that executive producer Lyndsay Pearson has wanted to bring to the game for a long time.
“I’m not exaggerating when I say we’ve been talking about this particular update for years,” Pearson said. “We just had to find the right time, resources, and design to allow us to start the heavy process of actually building and bringing toddlers to life. And believe me when I say it has been really really difficult to not talk about this as we worked to get it right.”
An official response on whether or not The Sims 4 is coming to Xbox One should be expected soon.
