Currently, those who took part in the technical alpha for Sea of Thieves are being invited to the beta for the game. Along with these invites is an informative infographic which offers a list of statistics of how the first test did.
From the technical alpha, we have seen that 356,192 users have taken to the high seas to check out the upcoming release, whilst the deadliest pirate award went to Capta1n Cr0ss, who managed to rack up an impressive 2033 kills. Meanwhile, 583,578 tankards of grog were chugged down, and 1.84 million gold pieces were found in 669,637 chests sold.
If you were one of the lucky people who managed to get into the technical alpha, then you will be able to enjoy the beta when it kicks off on January 24th.

Sea of Thieves will release on March 20th, 2018 on Xbox One and PC. This is considered one of the most anticipated exclusives that Microsoft has to offer in the first part of the year, and is shaping up to be very exciting indeed.
