State of Decay 2 Finally Coming To Steam
After a year of being a Microsoft exclusive, State of Decay 2 and its infested open-world are finally coming to Steam.
State of Decay was an immensely fun zombie survival game with a lot of charm. State of Decay 2, not so much. The sequel didn’t really improve any existing mechanics, and it was mostly tedious and uneventful. The whole zombie apocalypse was mostly drab and the whole point of building a community with survivers and all put a lot of chores on your list, most of which were extremely annoying. Certain elements were alright, and the many updates the game got improved the whole experience. It also released as a Microsoft exclusive, which did not help the game at all. But, at long last, State of Decay 2 is coming to Steam. We only had to wait over a year to get this announcement.
“Early 2020” is when you should expect to see State of Decay 2 on Steam. Undead Labs have confirmed that their survival title will feature Xbox Life crossplay. Meaning Windows Store, Steam, and Xbox One players can all enjoy surviving in a bleak, zombie-infested world together! The co-op is quite entertaining when lag doesn’t interfere with your fun. I’m just glad the game is finally heading over to Steam. These exclusivity deals are very annoying. Hopefully, this trend stops, but seeing as Epic is buying exclusivity rights for every title ever developed, it’s not stopping anytime soon.
You can buy a State of Decay PC game key on HRK Game right now, and the sequel is discounted as well, so you could grab both games for an awesome price!
