The elusive and highly anticipated Crackdown 3 will finally release as a launch title for the new Xbox One X console. If you aren’t quite up to date on what’s new with the sequel, don’t worry as YouTube’s ‘theRadBrad’ has you covered.
The YouTuber has shared a 10-minute video of gameplay footage from the game, which shows the single-player mode. Many of you will be expecting to see the destructive set-pieces that we have seen ever since the game’s initial announcement. They aren’t really present in the video unfortunately, as Microsoft has already confirmed that it will be the multiplayer mode that will take advantage of such a feat, with enhanced destructibility to be used by the cloud.
The video shows off some free roaming in its 10-minute play time, as well as the player completing missions, and using some of the protagonist’s abilities for all to see. There are many comparisons being made to the likes of Saints Row IV, Sunset Overdrive and other games of a similar nature with Crackdown 3, though that is completely down to interpretation. We won’t know for sure until the game releases, of course. As a fan of the first two games, I have high hopes for this third entry, and there’s a sense of relief that it finally has a release date.
Crackdown 3 will release on November 7th.
