Fear the Night is a survival game set in a brutal world filled with flesh-eating zombies. You have to find allies in order to survive in this world and then work with them in order to rebuild from the ashes of the apocalypse and create a new society.

The remaining survivors of humanity need to combine their strengths in order to remain alive. Zombies are the dominant force in the world that you inhabit right now. Other survivors can help you make a foothold in this unforgiving world. Day and night switch places as days go on. Daytime is the time when you can roam around the world and look for resources. Zombies become much more aggressive and violent during the night. All kinds of facilities can be reclaimed. Attack zombie caves with your friends and destroy them. A certain network of caves can be occupied and turned into the ultimate safe haven.

Zombies are very efficient hunters. They have many ways of tracking you down and killing you. Don't try to escape and hide from them in sloppy ways as they can find you. Only the most capable survivors with incredible hiding skills will remain alive.

Thankfully, before humans got obliterated completely, they invented autonomous robotic defenses which helped them against the undead invaders. These robots are still on duty today, it's just the fact that they are killing everything, from zombies to humans. Hack into their complex systems and use them.
